This month marks the 5th anniversary of YouTube. YouTube content
created by ZeroDivide grantee partners have achieved more than two
million upload views, demonstrating that technology and opportunity can give
voice to underserved communities.

On Twitter and You Tube, the recovery efforts following the tragic earthquake in Haiti continue to be the main subject of interest. Online communication sites, such as Twitter, have played an especially large role as they quickly filled with Haiti-related information and ways to offer aid. Social media became central to the fundraising effort that raised millions of dollars.
YouTube is now offering channel services for non-profits. This allows non-profits to create an account on the site which will allow for unlimited content uploading times, waiving the 10 minute maximum that is enforced on normal acccounts.
