social media etiquette

"...be able to take back all of the photos that you ever posted onto Facebook?"

That was the rueful question I overheard uttered by a dejected-looking woman at Bluestem Brasserie the other night. Which elicited a cackle from her dining partner, and then the somewhat unkind response, "For what YOU've been posting? Thousands of dollars!" Read more about "How Much Would You Pay To..."

Ok, truth be told, I was born around 11 am in the morning...but "I Was Born At Night, but Not Last Night," has always been one of my favorite sayings.  And right now, it might be a useful motto for social media users to print out and paste to the front of their computer monitors as a gentle reminder to "Trust, but Verify" (as Ronald Reagan was so fond of saying.  Of course, most social media users weren't even alive when Ronald Reagan was saying that...but I digress...).
