(Whose?) Life in a Day

A little over a year ago, film director Ridley Scott, YouTube and the National Geographic Foundation put out an open call for anyone on the planet to film their life on one particular day: July 24, 2010.  They then asked people to upload their completed videos to YouTube - and received more than 80,000 submissions from 140 countries, totalling over 4,500 hours of content.  These they took and condensed into a single 95-minute documentary with the tag line, "The Story of a Single Day on Earth."   I went to see the film last night, on the last night of its run in San Francisco.
