Project Announcement: National Project to Help Libraries Support ACA Enrollment
ZeroDivide announced today its partnership with OCLC on a national project to improve public library eHealth services and prepare library staff to provide patrons with information and assistance related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
When the ACA open enrollment period begins October 1, 2013, libraries across the country will see intensified demand for their IT and health information services. Libraries and their staff will benefit from the additional information and resources our project will provide as they respond to requests for information and assistance from patrons looking to enroll in affordable health insurance through their state health insurance marketplace.
The project is made possible by the generous support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, who announced the project today at the annual American Library Association conference in Chicago, following a special video message by President Barack Obama about the important role libraries play in helping Americans enroll in health insurance under the ACA.
We at ZeroDivide are excited about this new work to strengthen the nation’s libraries and, ultimately, improve the long-term health and wellness of communities across the country. You can download our full press release here.
