Events July 22- 25 - Netroots Nation Aug 14 - Craigslist Boot Camp for Nonprofits Tools Social e-Valuator - tool for measuring SROI. TRASI - Tools & Resources for Social Impact. Database of 150 approaches to measuring and analyzing social impact. Multimedia Jim Fruchterman, Social Entrepreneur and ZeroDivide Board Member, speaks on Harnessing Technology for Social Enterprise. Videos Paul Lamb was our Man on the Street at the SEA Summit held in San Francisco. He had an opportunity to interview a few attendees. Eight ZeroDivide community ventures from around California were represented at the event, including Change Agent Productions, EPA.net, FresYES, the San Diego Futures Foundation, Reach LA, the Tribal Digital Village, Women's Audio Mission, and Youth Radio. To view the video of SEA participants sharing their experiences at the Summit, click here A highlight of the conference were keynotes from Made to Stick and Switch author Chip Heath on "Change when Change is Hard." and Uncharitable author Don Pallotta on "challenging traditional notions of charity." Other interesting activities included a showcase and tours of local social enterprises, a first ever Young Leaders track and party, and Angel Forum venture pitches. The conference also offered a unique networking opportunity through its own social network, still accessible here All in all it was a successful event.
