It’s BlogDay 2007!
It’s down to the wire, but as I’m rushing out of here for the long weekend, I wanted to get my submission in for the event. This list is skewed towards a community technology and philanthropy related bent, but they are all “blogs” that I enjoy and hope you do too.
- Cool N’ Conscientious – a blog by friend Paul Lamb that sniffs out the latest and greatest possibilities for community technology and how it might help underserved communities.
- Philanthropy 2173 is written by Lucy Bernholz, an information maven and connector—to use two of Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point archetypes—who writes with deftness and sharp observation on topics ranging from philanthropy, social return on investment, and community technology.
- Tactical Philanthropy is Sean Stannard-Stockton’s weblog and is a great read if you want to become (self)reflective about this field called philanthropy.
- Gavin’s Digital Diner. The eponymous Gavin is Gavin Clabaugh, Vice President for Information Technology at the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation. His diner is his own place, though, and serves the best malt shakes this side of Ann Arbor. He also writes extensively about Microsoft server wrangling and war stories about the nonprofit technology field. RSS
- I’m not sure why Steve Anderson’s weblog is called Gokubi, but all roads that have to do with nonprofit Salesforce implementation lead back to him. Reading his blog convinced me that Salesforce could work as a grants management platform for us. He also works for a pretty cool nonprofit to boot. RSS
