Missions That Creep

Tessie Guillermo

Andrew Blau, of Global Business Network fame, emailed me an introduction to an executive from the second largest telecom company in the Philippines. Aside from the (maybe) obvious connection to our shared heritage, he thought CTFC might have something useful to share with this executive about our digital divide work here in the U.S. and that of the Philippines. Well, this got me thinking about how the CTFC has changed from the time it was established to today. Has our vision changed the world or has the world changed our vision? What’s the difference between mission creep and being an adaptable “learning organization? My thoughts on this coming up, and I welcome yours.
