We believe in creating opportunities to build a collaborative, innovative and knowledge sharing culture that is continually engaged in the activity of learning.

It is in this spirit that we share with you our latest publications and hope that our experiences and lessons learned can contribute to our collective learnings in the field.

In Ready, Set, Start – Lessons from ZeroDivide’s Inaugural Year, we share our experiences in funding social enterprises. At the heart of our shift toward community enterprise is the underlying belief that underserved communities can generate their own capital—new or enhanced businesses, jobs and enterprises—to improve social and economic conditions.

ZeroDivide Case Study – Youth Institute/Change Agent Productions demonstrates how investments in technology-based community non-profit enterprises can yield substantial combined financial and social returns. We offer this case study of the YMCA Long Beach Youth Institute, one of our community enterprise investments, as a contribution to the ongoing discussion over evaluating social returns on investment.

In the Community WiFi study read about community WiFi programs as a feasible solution for technology adoption and how it can increase educational and economic opportunity for community members. In addition, social benefits are created that relate to civic engagement, public safety, and accessibility to government and social services.

We have seen the growing power of communities using technology to increase their ability to improve lives. With our investments we help people visualize a strong, sustainable future.
