Municipal Leaders Embrace Technology

Last Friday I had the pleasure of speaking to the leaders of the State Municipal Leagues gathering for their annual summer meeting in Monterey, California. Organized by the National League of Cities, the session focused on integrating Web 2.0 technology. In addition, I stressed the importance of understanding Web 2.0 characteristics, such as interactivity, transparency and participatory, as this Web 2.0 culture is changing our interations with and expectations of our organizations, institutions and leaders.
