Check out this innovative use of mobile technology! SexInfoSF is a text message service that provides young people with information about sexual health in an immediate, private manner, and links them to resources in their neighborhood. It was developed by health educators at ISIS, Internet Sexuality Information Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization developing technology for promotion of sexual health and healthy relationships, and to prevent disease transmission.

New Media Helps us Support the Troops!

In recognition of Veteran's Day, the documentary "The Way We Get By" will be shown nationally tonight on PBS's Point of View (POV). It tells the story of three seniors in Maine who greet troop daily who are departing for or returning from Iraq. In addition to documenting the unique service these senior perform to support our troops it also tells a story of aging, loss, and loneliness.
