I've wanted to plan a convening on digital storytelling for a long time and getting to do it with our colleagues at the "Bay Area Video Coalition":http://www.bavc.org was one of the benefits. We,re also going to be highlighting our first set of Digi Award winners from our Digital Storytelling Institute--it's just a way of recognizing the fine work of some of the groups that have been jumping into the field of community media.
