Have I told you to come to our Digital Storytelling unconference yet? What? You don’t know the details?

Monday, April 2, come to the SFSU Extended Learning campus – home of the Bay’s finest multimedia instruction. I’ve wanted to plan a convening on digital storytelling for a long time and getting to do it with our colleagues at the Bay Area Video Coalition was one of the benefits. I’m especially jazzed to have Chip Heath keynote in the morning.

His book Made to Stick fits perfectly with our theme of what you do after your digital story is made? How and why do some ideas have carrying power and spread? We,re also going to be highlighting our first set of Digi Award winners from our Digital Storytelling Institute—it’s just a way of recognizing the fine work of some of the groups that have been jumping into the field of community media.

Come join us. Send an email to rsvp@bavc.org to confirm your attendance at the event.
