Kitchen Cabinet Real Talk: Hip Hop as a Media for Social Justice

ZeroDivide will be hosting a series of gatherings called, “KITCHEN CABINET Real Talk." These conversations will address the issues of youth/strengthening families, media and multiculturalism, hip hop culture, current technology usages and much more.

We are looking to you - our current and former grantees, ZFellows, friends, and content experts - to help us create a unique, cutting edge, culturally appropriate platform on how to best support/serve the communities we all care about. The ideas generated at our session will help us design our 2005 funding initiative supporting hip hop media as a positive means for social justice.

We want you to be a part of the conversation. Come ready to think, share your ideas, tell us what works and what doesn’t. Let your voices be heard!!

We will be giving more updates about the ZD “KITCHEN CABINET Real Talk" gatherings so please check out this web page again.

Our first gathering took place on:

Friday, December 3, 2004 from 9:00am to 3:30pm at the ZD ZeroDivide Learning Lab.
